CCR Music Video

This is my CCR in PowerPoint format for my music video.

Final Music Video

Our music video took a long time to make. This does not change the fact that it was a rewarding project. It was both fun and exciting to work on. We learned even more tips and tricks when filming and editing thanks to this project. Our favorite part was hanging out and filming at the beach. The shots were fun to make there, and we got to try a lot of new things.   The most challenging shot to film was the sports shot. This was because we kept missing the throws or messing up a catch.  We did have some issues with the quality of our video towards the end of our editing process.  But we worked together as a team to resolve it. Maybe not completely but much better than before.   Overall  a successful project for our group.

Cleaning Things Up

Today I finished up some filming. Since the last class, we already had all of our clips shortened to the right length. Now I need to put it into our editing application. I used iMovie to edit just like last time. All was going well until I realized that the videos were coming a little bit blurry. I asked my groupmate Julie about this. She said that when a video gets transferred through multiple sources the quality decreases. To fix this I suggested that she send the videos directly to my computer. This ended up working. The videos were not blurry. I ended up suggesting a slight change to the storyboard. I did this to match the song lyrics. For example when the lyrics mention the passing of the Hollywood sign. When it says this I moved the clip so it would match up with the lyrics perfectly. Once we had everything lined up with the lyrics I was happy. Now, none of the clips were blurry. I am almost ready to submit my final product. I will do this on Monday. A bit before that I must just

Cutting Things Up

I did a healthy amount of editing today. I was aided by my groupmate Beckett. During our class time, I saw that there were some parts of our video that did not follow the rubric. This was that there were excess people in our shots. So I and my group had to do some problem-solving. We decided to go to our technology class when we had a free class or period. This was so we can use the Photoshop and Adobe Premier apps on the desktops to edit out any unwanted people or items. In the meantime, during the class period, I took all the raw footage and cut it up. I took a look at each scene and cut out any part we did not need. So we were left with only what we needed in the video. But I was not done yet. Once I got to the technology class with Beckett I had to transfer the cut-up videos from my computer to the desktop. This did take a while but it got done. This desktop had the applications and tools to help us. I and Beckett worked as a team here. Beckett is more tech-savvy with Photoshop and

Action on The Beach

This weekend I and my group did some filming. The plan was for my group to finish all of our filmings today. It started with Beckett picking me up from my house. We drove to our meeting spot at Hollywood Beach. I waited for Julie to show up. Once she got there I was ready to get started. Her Dad helped us film. My group followed our storyboard almost all the way through. We did have to change one or two scenes up. I had some suggestions to do some changes while filming. For example, I suggested that we film using a football so that we can see the ball better in the sun. Everything was going as planned. Julie's Dad helped us out with filming. I looked at the rubric and made sure we were following it. Getting our different angles in and checking off everything. My group finished filming. We also managed to take a couple of extra shots just in case. Now I am all set up. I now need to help edit and touch things up. I had a great time. Here below is a picture of me and my groupmates wit
