My Final Task CCR

Image
This is my CCR for my Final Task. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

My Final Task

This is my complete final task. It took a lot of hard work, but I enjoyed it and I hope you enjoy watching it.

Finished With My Final Task

Image
My Final Task is complete. It took me a lot of work. I had the help of my great groupmates. It took me months to complete. My teachers also helped me tremendously. I asked plenty of questions and they helped me as much as they could. While it may have been stressful at times, I ended up having a blast. I also learned a lot more. This has been not only a great school learning experience but a great life experience. I got better at scheduling myself and working with strict deadlines. I feel as if it came out great. I was able to check off the lists I made. These lists had all the requirements of what our final task needed. I watched through my Final Task and checked everything off. I had all the required angles and shots needed. One last watch and now I am ready to embed it. Now almost all of the hard work is done. Next, I need to finish my CCR. This will help me reflect on my Final Task. The CCR will also allow me to be creative . Overall my Final Task was very successful.

Changes From Film Review

Image
A few days ago I completed my film review. I asked my mom to watch my group's product. She was very honest about what needed to be fixed. So I and my group got to work. I implemented a sound bridge throughout the scenes. Meaning I had the same music playing through multiple scenes. This music was of a suspenseful drama. This built more suspense that my reviewer said I was lacking. Also, in order to add a darker tone to the film we used filters. These filters were available in my editing application and made it much darker. This in turn built suspense. My reviewer also commented on some of our transitions. So I made some changes. I and my groupmates added dissolves as well as fades. These made our transitions look smoother. Also, they are required conventions in my final task. The film review was very helpful for me. It helped me see where we could improve. Having someone who is honest with you also really helped us get the most and make more changes. All in all the film review sign

Touching Up Our Edits

Image
Today I and my group just about finished up the editing.  It was fairly simple. All my group had to do was add music and titles. The titles were already all planned out. These were all on my group's storyboard. The editing application I was using made it very easy for my group. iMovie's user interface was very easy to use. I was able to slide in the titles very easily. My final task is supposed to be 2 minutes long. After playing around with the clips I got it to 1 minute and 58 seconds. I watched the product a few times over. I made slight changes on the way through.  For example, when the music sets in. Or how big the font was. I am almost finished with my Final Task. In my free time or next period, I will work some more. I will also be in contact with my groupmates. This is to make sure everything is going smoothly. I want to make sure it is perfect before my deadline. All in all, today was a very productive day in completing my Final Task.

Film Review

I had my mom watch my Final Task. I showed her what I have so far. My group has not finished editing. I am almost finished editing. My group still needs to add music and touch things up. The video is still understandable. My mom is a very honest person. She will tell me upright anything. So I feel like this is a good person to go to for an opinion. She commented on the need for music. My group plans to add that to the video very soon. She also said it could have had a 'darker' theme. My group has a solution for this. A filter will be applied over the clips. This will make the clips appear darker. Overall she liked the product and understood it pretty well. After hearing what she said I informed my group. My group agreed with me and we will make these changes appropriately. Overall she was very helpful in helping my group. This image portrays a woman critiquing a film.

Putting Everything Together

This is my first editing blog for my final task. My group already got the raw footage. Now it is time to put it all together. The goal in-class time for me was to cut up all the raw footage. I would then send all this raw footage to Julie. Julie would then start editing with these cut-up clips. Once we put all of our clips together under one editing application it came out to 1:52. My group has used iMovie all year. So I am familiar with along with my groupmates of the application. After about an hour of putting clips together, progress was made. The film time was at 1:58. This is perfect according to the rubric. When I was filming I recorded some clips purely for sound. For example a clip of a bush rustling. I was able to insert this sound clip under the footage. It came out sounding perfect and authentic. I and my group accomplished a lot this class period. I cut up the raw footage. The clips were put together under one application. The time of the product was on point. Sound clips w
