  1.       How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My product uses and challenges conventions as well as represents social groups and issues in many ways. First of all, my product, Nike uses conventions. These include many things. In a Nike commercial, you expect to see athletic activities being completed. This is my product using conventions. My product also challenges conventions in many different ways. Sometimes they may veer off and use some more real-world examples instead of athletics. Nike also represents social groups as well as trending issues in modern-day society. Nike is an avid supporter of many social groups. An example would be supporting women's inequality in sports. Nike also stood for the Black Lives Matter movement. Nike is also worldwide so they take into account problems occurring around the globe. Overall my product, Nike uses and challenges conventions as well as represents social groups and issu

 Finally finished. This is my final project. I worked very hard on this. Also did my groupmates. It took us about 2 and a half weeks. We went through some tough times. Such as my editing application not starting. But I pushed through it. I also need to give credit to my groupmates. We all worked very hard. Overall I am proud of myself and my group.

 Today I got much more done than Wednesday. I and my groupmates finished editing. Last class the application would not load so we had to finish it all today. We were successful. The final product turned out exactly how I planned. It lined up perfectly with my group's storyboard. Specifically, in class, I did many things. It took up the entire hour and a half of class time. First, we put all the clips in order on iMovie. Then I added transitions on the clips that needed them. Then my group ran into a slight issue. The music I wanted could not be transferred directly with iMovie. So I had to improvise. We used the voiceover option on iMovie. My group played the song over the voiceover with a cell phone. This ended up working perfectly. I helped my groupmates make some final edits on our commercial;. Then we were done. Even after some issues on the first day, I got through it. Along with my teammates, we finished. Overall a very productive day for me.

 Today I had the task of editing. I had some problems though. My computer would not load the program. So while that was attempting to load I was being productive. My group and I went over what exactly is going to happen when we will edit. How I would do the voiceover. Also the types of cuts we will do. Then I watched a video on how to edit. It was a video on a tutorial of iMovie. It was very helpful. That video would come in handy later when I got home. After that I did some schoolwork. The program was still loading so I thought I would be productive. I studied for my chemistry test tomorrow. As well as finish up some spare math homework. I went on with my other classes for the day. When I got home I let the application finish loading. Finally I was ready to start. I knew what I needed to do. I got working. I ended doing about a third of the editing after school. On Friday I will finish it up with my groupmates. Overall I had a very productive day. This is despite the difficulties I fa

 Today was a rather easy day for our group. Last period we finished most of our filming. Or at least the more difficult ones. Today we only needed to film one scene. This scene was very easy. It was me looking over a piece of completed homework. Then putting a check mark at the top of the paper. This checkmark is supposed to resemble a Nike logo. This scene links school to the commercial. Opening up the Nike stereotype over the real world. Also it makes clean transition wen you zoom into the Nike logo. In our scene we used a high angle over my head. As well as an extreme close up of the logo. After we filmed that I helped another group film. I did this by being an actor in their commercial. I was the main actor in all the scenes. I went out to the track and did a variety of things. Such as run, stretch, drink water, etc. Next class we will edit all the clips together and add voiceovers and music. Overall a rather easy day, but Wednesday will be harder. In the piece of media attached y
