 Today was a productive day for me and my group. We as a group first decided on a Christmas genre for our music video. After some research on these types of songs we decided not to do this genre. Christmas feels too distant right now. We looked in another direction. We started looking at pop songs. We liked what we saw. We saw a lot of jump cuts. As well as creative costumes and makeup. Another thing we saw was a lot of close ups and zoom outs while researching the videos. This opens a large catalog of things to do in our video. Many different types of shots. It was very centered around the main character. It also involves a lot of upbeat activities such as parties. We also have a backup plan. We already watched music videos on Christmas song. This means that we can fall back on the Christmas genre if we must. We are confident in our ability to create a video under the pop genre after today. Overall, a great day for our group. I and my group still have not come up with a concrete name for the Final Task short film. In order to resolve this, I called our group together and brought up the idea. After some discussion, my group came up with a shortlist of what the name of the film could be. One name that I brought was "Wrongdoings". My idea for this was to keep it short and conspicuous. This was in order to keep my Film in line with the mystery genre. A short name that would make the audience wonder could connotate a mystery. That is at least what I believed. My groupmates did not agree. They believed that my idea was not the best. So in response, I asked a question of my one. I asked them what they thought the name of the Film should be.   A. Common Sound In Your Genre:   Background noise is prevalent in this short film. Things like ocean waves, people walking, trees swaying in the wind, etc.   B. Common Mis-En-Scene (CLAMPS) In Your Genre:   Dark dirty city, making it look more dangerous and remote. Close-ups and eye-level shots are common to show characters' emotions and paranoia.   C. Common Editing In Your Genre:   Close-ups and zooms. Another common editing technique is cut-away and parallel editing.   D. Example Films Of Your Genre:   Night Bus   E. What Elements Of The Genre That You Like:   The suspense is created through a director's editing techniques.   F. Titling it Up

 My group is only a few steps away from finishing. Today, I need to add titles to my film. In order to do this, my group set up a meeting date. It was decided that my group meet Friday after school. So I got home and printed out the order of needed titles. Once I got with my group it was decided that each title had to have a name. So my group went one by one, deciding what to put for each title. After this, my group needed to see which title design will be used. In order to do this, each one of my groupmates created their own design. After every one of my groupmates made their design, each one was compared. My group decided that Sofia made the best design.
